By moustache from Seattle, Wa. on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Sharp Blade Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Caution!! Out of the box the lock-back did not engage. After a few cycles it seems to work well. I own several Boker knives but don't see the name on this knife. Think the Cinch name most likely designates manufacture somewhere else. Great knife for the price but does not meet the Boker standard that I expected.

By Snake from Tennessee on 11/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Sharp Blade Cons: Too soon to know problems Best Uses: Campgrounds, Day Trips, Road Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Solidly made and very attractive, but although it is stated in the ad that the knife is made in Germany, there is NO information on either the knife or packaging as to where the knife was made. The insert did say that Boker knives are made in both Germany and Argentina. Also no info on knife as to the type od SS used. Curious
By moustache from Seattle, Wa. on 11/08/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Sharp Blade Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Caution!! Lock back did not work out of the box. After several cycles it seems to work well. I have owned several Boker knives and my expectations were very high. The advertisement says Boker as did the box but their name is not found on the knife itself. Wondering if the knife is actually made by a sub-contractor denoted by the name Cinch. Not as good as my other Boker knives but a great value for the price.
By BigTony from Lake Stevens, WA on 11/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Compact, Durable, Good Weight, Sharp Blade Cons: Sheath needs a Tec-lok, Uneven grind Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, Everyday carry, River Trips, Road Trips, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ever on the search for a good "everyday carry" knife I soptted this stout little fixed blade and thought I'd give it a try. While 440c isn't the best steel out there it is easy enough to keep sharp and has good wear resistance. This is a substantial knife without being heavy, due to it's skeletonized handle and rather short blade. While I am very pleased with it so far it does have two major draw backs: First, the blade grind was uneven. This is somwewhat understandable for a mass produced knife in this price range, but it did require my attention. Secondly, the sheath is set up for neck carry only. This is the biggest flaw as it NEEDS a tec-lok or some way to attach the sheath to a belt included with the sheath. I am in the process of ordering a mini tec-lok and hope the sheath can be easily modified to accept it. Once I find a way to attach this knife to my belt I will EDC it for a few weeks and reserve my final judgement until then. So far though, for the price I consider this knife a good value.
