By Hunter in SC from Charleston, SC on 10/23/2009 Pros: Good Weight, Sharp Blade, Versatile Cons: Sheath, Uncomfortable Grip Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Day Trips, Hunting, Survival Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the knife. Not practical for skinning anything, but great for knocking down limbs or such. The handle is too thin for my hands. Not a true tactical knife, but great for hooking onto my backpack as I hike to my stand through the swamp.

Good materials. Grip could be more accurate.
By jeepsterish from Stockton, CA on 10/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Finish, Nice design, Sharp Blade Cons: Asymmetrical grind, Grip is too smooth Best Uses: Camping, Hunting, Survival, Tactical Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The wood handle scales need to have checkering or some other grip enhancement to make this knife handle better. As it is, it will be slippery when wet.

By deepdrop from New Hampshire on 10/10/2009 Pros: Good Weight, Sharp Blade Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like Boker knives. This one is really nice and the sheath is also very nice. Many times you get a crummy sheath with a knife but this one is good. It's a little hard to get out of the sheath at first but it eases up in a short while. The stag handle feels a little like plastic and is on the thin side. Also, I prefer a knife with a finger guard but this one still feels safe. All in all, it's currently my favorite and it feels like a high quality knife at a good price.
By coachc from TN on 10/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Finish, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Camping, Home, Hunting Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The Boker Stag Handle, Damascus steel knife is a work of art. It certainly is functional, but I may just retire it to a glass case. The Damascus steel coupled with the Stag handle is easy on the eye.
The extra sheath does not accept this knife, but the untooled sheath does.
This was a super bargin, on a great knife.
Excellent value in a tactical knife By Brisket from Texas Hill Country on 10/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Easy To Use, Quality sheath, Versatile Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Survival Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This Boker is well made and designed. I exchanged a CRKT tactical knife that had its sheath come apart the first time I took it out of the package. Big difference in quality, looks, feel and function in favor of the Boker Tacticos. Outstanding grip in right or left hand or inverse. I would prefer a higher grade of steel than 440C but Boker does a good job with heat treating and for the price you won't find anything comparable. Boker continues to provide some of the best factory leather sheaths in the industry. I recently went to a Gun & Knife show and came back even more excited about my purchase of the Boker Tacticos from Sierra Trading Post.
By anomad from new mexico on 10/06/2009 Pros: Bomb proof little knife, Compact, Durable Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, Non threatening office Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great Boker quality at a bargain price with coupons from STP. About half what these were when they first came out. Makes a great utility knife for general cutting purposes and doesn't scare people because its so "cute". Tactical uses include keeping unruly tomatoes properly sliced or opening boxes.
