By alpineclimb from Sierra foothills on 09/26/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Campgrounds, Road Trips, Survival Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very well-made knife for the price. It is thick and heavy, so keep that in mind if packing - it may actually weigh a pound. Arrived sharp, especially considering the blade thickness. Blade is sharpened on one side only. Handle is a bit more comfortable than it looks, though would probaby be best with gloves. Best suited for rough cuts or chopping duty, rather than anything resembling precision slicing. Should last a very long time.

By w.v. mountain man from west virginia on 09/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Not a bad factory edge Best Uses: Camping, Hunting Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this knife was a purchase as a tag-along for hunting bear with bow and arrow. large sturdy blade is for added protection in case of a quick charge.
By Country Joe from Minneapolis, MN on 09/10/2009 Pros: Compact, Eye Candy, Good Weight, Sharp Blade Cons: Handle rivets - stamped Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The knife has an exceptionally nice blade. The handle rivets were stamped off center, detracting from the knifes overall appearance. The knife could easily be customized with knew grips if they don't work for you.
A great general carry knife around the farm. Safer and more convenient than a folding knife.
By Gray from Naperville, IL on 09/08/2009 Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This knife is nothing special, certainly no better than the Chicago Cutlery that I have been using. Cheap feeling light plastic handle. Not worth even the deep discount price.

Worth the investment..... By Tony P. from Nashville, Tn on 08/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Compact, Durable, Good Weight, Sharp Blade, Versatile Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Survival Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't had the chance to break it in yet, but it looks to be more than up to the task. The full tang is thicker than I had expected, and my first thought was "how heavy?". Not bad at all, and the well made sheath lays close to the hip so it stays out of the way. The micarta handle slabs are thick, and should be as indestructable as the steel. Small hands may not fit. Worth every penny if you ever had to call on it hard. May buy my son one!
