Comments:
Certainly, one off the best designs in rappel-devices or descenders. Dissipates very well the friction heat, in single or double rope uses. Very useful with static rope under heavy loads or rescue scenarios.

Simond Micral Carabiner

Not Just For The Outdoors
By JoshuaVerified Reviewer from Springville, CA on 03/11/2008
Pros:
Compact, Lightweight
Best Uses:
Multi-use
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Works great for holding gear on the outside of your bags. I use these around the house for quick fix jobs to hold tools, rope, etc. I also use it to help keep my fence gate closed on the dog run. She can't lift up the latch now and it is much easier to open compared to a lock.

Simond Crampon Bag

Would but again if needed
By ExeterVerified Reviewer from NE Mass. on 03/04/2008
Pros:
Seems well constructed
Best Uses:
Storage, Travel attached to pack
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
We're using two bags for Petzl Vasak crampons, which don't fit the bags Petzl markets, or at least don't fit loosely enough to prevent premature wear of the bag. They fit these bags just fine with point protectors. There is sufficient provision for lashing the bags to a pack, and the bags seem solid enough in construction to give years of service.
