Best Rap/Belay Biner Ever By Patroller101 from SoCal on 05/23/2009 Best Uses: Indoor, Long Climbs, Outdoor, Rapelling Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great 'biner. Works well with tube-type devices and Gri Gri. Blunt nose will never hang up on anything. The only negative whatsover is that the anodization is not as hard as it could be (harder than BD, softer than Petzl), so it shows cosmetic wear (and dirties your rope) after a few rappels.
By zzzzzzzz from pa on 05/11/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this biner is awesome. the nose is supper smooth! Its so easy to slip on and off slings and bolts. it even comes off with ease when under tension because the way its shaped with no hook at all. i love them and you will too!

By surfgirl from honolulu, hi on 05/01/2009 Best Uses: Indoor, Long Climbs, Outdoor, Sprint Climbs Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is fairly small, same size as the carabiner on my quickdraws, but is sturdy and has an easy screwgate.
By Pura Vida from Sonoma, CA on 04/29/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The strange design and multiple part construction leave me doubtful. It is hard to take up slack quickly because the devise tends to clamp down on the rope. I returned it so I didn't get the chance to get used to it.
By Aaron from 29 Palms, CA on 04/28/2009 Best Uses: Long Climbs, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: just a little bulky.
By half pint from Oakton, VA on 04/22/2009 Best Uses: Long Climbs, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took 12 of these draws out to Red River Gorge for their initial use on some lead climbs in the 5.9 - 5.10 range. They worked great. Being 5'2", and 110lbs, I especially loved the light carry weight. I was quite pleased with my first ever purchase of quickdraws.
By Teton Traverser from Wyoming on 04/22/2009 Pros: Durable, Strong cheap Best Uses: Alpine climbing, Long Climbs, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were the best deal going at STP. I think I scored the last ones! Better than the comparable Petzl product. This is a forged, reinforced carabiner that is super strong.

For what I paid for this at STP, I saved myself solid [$]!! Thanks STP!
By Teton traverser from Wyoming on 04/22/2009 Best Uses: Long Climbs, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used for climbing in the Teton range and in NM. Excellent product, why pay [$] or more for cheap carabiners when you can have the best for half price?
