By j from Pensacola, FL on 03/31/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Seems a decent, cheap locking biner. Haven't climbed with it yet, but not too different than my myriad of others.
lock isn't as smooth as expected By bnassiver from Averill Park, NY on 03/26/2009 Cons: Locking isn't smooth Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The release of this locker is a bit difficult, especially with gloves on (ice climbing). The BLC system is great for belaying but cumbersome if switching between things.

By adventure/climber from cincinnati, oh on 03/12/2009 Best Uses: Outdoor, Sport climbs Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't used them yet, but they appear to be a great product and you can't beat the price. They are very lightweight, but a little shorter than the Spirit draws that I'm used to (of course, I knew this before I purchased them). I think they are a great buy for someone getting started with their own gear and are not ready to spend [$]for the whole package.

I gave the other one to my girlfriend. She really loves it too. I have climbed in the past. But nothing technical
