My new favorite cover-up top By Chanteuse from Portland, OR on 11/17/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my new favorite cover-up. The contrasting seam color makes it cute and youthful. It runs a bit long in the sleeve and a bit short at the waist, but this look goes well with jeans. I don't usually like hoods, but I use this hood all the time because the fabric is thin enough that it doesn't get in the way (like hoods tend to do). The downside is that because the fabric is thin, it isn't very warm as a sweatshirt.
These shorts are a little weird... By Dana Yares from Petaluma, Ca on 11/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly Cons: Irregular Fit, Waist to hip ratio is off Best Uses: Cold Weather, Long Rides Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For the sales price of [$] these shorts are great. I ended up cutting the liner out because it stuck to my legs and was uncomfortable.
By Keen fiend from Columbus Ohio on 10/05/2009 Best Uses: Mountain bkie riding, Road Biking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable, cute styling with the logos. Ample pockets, although I haven't actually put anything in them. Had to guess at the size as I wear a 2-4. I bought the small (4-6) because I wear compression shorts underneath and they fit just right. The triangular insert in the back puckers a bit, but my shirt covers that up pretty well. Nice shorts for the price I paid.
By Early Riser from North Idaho on 10/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Soft, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Apres Sport, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great weight fabric for spring and fall to keep the chill off heading to and from the gym. Fabric is smooth on the skin and doesn't cling. Good for layering too. The sleeves are slightly belled and just the right length for folks on the taller side.
By seco from Conneaut Lake, PA on 10/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Great Fit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Road Biking, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great over the padded shorts - good for casual and biking wear
By T. cyclist from Cabin John, MD on 09/30/2009 Cons: Fabric doesn't stretch Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These capris are stylish and appear well made, but the fabric has no stretch. I purchased 2 sizes--the smaller fit best off-bike, but were too tight to cycle comfortably; the larger were better on-bike, but off-bike barely stay up over my hips. Not sure yet if I'll return them.
Excellent comfort just where you need it By PedallingB from Australia on 09/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding Best Uses: Long Rides, Road Biking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm by no means a professional cyclist or an athlete but I do enjoy long bike rides and need to be comfortable and cool. These shorts fit the bill for that, and they also look good without looking like biker shorts and the padding is well hidden!
By prairie mom from Middleton, WI on 09/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was surprised that the "lining" did not include any padding in the seat area. Very cute, though, and will keep them for riding with the kids and non-biking wear. There is some slight bunchiness below the waist in the back. Stretchy fabric panels make them very comfortable.
By mtbikermt from Montana on 09/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Really low rise...too much plumber action in the back.
The legs were oddly tight at the top. If you have any leg muscles, these might not be the best choice.
However, the length is great. So often, women's bike shorts are too short. These would give good sun protection.
nice, but small and short By adventurer from Park City UT on 08/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Soft, Stylish Cons: Too Short, Waist is small Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an OK piece if you have the right shape. I ordered the Large. I am a size 12 top 36C with broad shoulders. it runs snug through the chest and very short in the waist. Waistband hit at my bellybutton or just above and was much to small. Looked like I was wearing my teens clothing. If you are long waisted this is not for you. The arms actually fit- my upper arms are big, and this is usually a problem. So if you have big arms, small chest, narrow and short waisted, This is for you!
The contrast stitching is nice and the material is stretchy, so it would look nice if you had the figure for it.
