By adventurista from seattle, wa on 04/14/2008 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Stylish Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i'm an avid carhartt wearer, and these guys have the same double knees, triple stitching, mustard color, and great canvas fabric. yet less bulk in the waist area, more flexibility and more flattering fit: sit a few inches below navel and yet cover well in the back (even when sitting down). i'm not sure if they fit true to size - i'm 5'5, 125 lb and i got the size 2L. they are a little long (not sure if they'll shrink after some washes), but they fit perfectly.
By anonymous from virginia on 04/05/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality Material, Holds Color Well, Versatile Style Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: wish i would have found these pants years ago. the extra on seam pocket on the right side is more functional than i thought it would be. like the overall fit, but the blemishes were a bit obvious on my pair.
By hiker boy from idaho on 04/05/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Work Wear Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Cons: Stitching around top of waist band is rough and chaffs skin. I just pulled it out and it feels great now.
Lots of room between waist and crotch. Crotch hangs too low for my taste.
Pros: Comfortable fit, plenty of room in the rear. I wear this pair 5 days a week and they still look good and don't smell.
By Forest Ecologist from Missoula, MT on 04/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality Material, Secret Pocket Cons: No Hammer Loop or left ha Best Uses: Birdwatching, Brewing Beer, Gardening, Outdoor workwear, Walking the Dogs Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Minimalist, Sexy Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have been wanting to try this brand of pants for a while but the price tag always got in the way. Until I found these on STP. Mainly got them for workwear as I work for the Forest Circus and usually go through a few pairs of Carhartt each year, when the rear end goes out from sitting my scrawny butt on rocks, logs, and forest floor. BUT these have a double butt and knees, reinforced cuffs, AND a gussetted crotch which will make long hikes and steep slopes much easier. If you use Carhartt workwear as mountain apparal, you will be pleased with these pants. I have worn them everday (2weeks) since I got them and haven't washed them yet. They broke in quick. I think they will last longer than Carhartts as the canvas seems lighter (not as heavy) but also soft and abrasion resistant. Although I already punctured them on some bobwire. I would probably buy these again instead of Carhartt. Also like to know Im supporting a Rocky Mountain business, although they are not made here.

Tough pants - skinny waist By M in MT from Bozeman, Montana on 03/23/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality Material, Holds Color Well Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These really are great pants - the kind you don't often see for less than full price. As far as I can tell, the reason these are 2nds has something to do with the waist sizing. I originally ordered a 36 - what I wear in just about every other pant or short out there - but had to exchange for a 38. Now they are a little loose-fitting, but very, very comfortable. I'm a guy, I should be able to shrink any piece of clothing eventually.
By Cooper from Middlebury, VT on 03/22/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality Material, Versatile Style Best Uses: work, outdoor, and casual Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great pants. At least as durable as my old carhartt's, if not more so, but with a more sophisticated look and a better fit around the legs (i.e., not too baggy). I'd buy them again.
