Great pants, well made, good fit By Barbara from Oregon Coast on 09/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, High Quality, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in a coastal environment which calls for a lot of casual wear. These pants are perfect, as they are heavier fabric and will endure the rainy winters and colder weather, but not too heavy for summer. A pleasant surprise.

The waist sits perfect on the hips. The flap pockets are kinda low in the back, but I think it is a cool look.
By Scubacam from Greeley, CO on 09/18/2009 Pros: Great Color, Stylish, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought four pairs of these pants for my wife and only one was wearable due to manufacturing quality. We followed the suggestion of ordering the next size up and that helped with the waist. As for length, the regular length was the same as the long with the khaki color. We also bought one of each of the other colors and they weren't even close to the same length or cut. Mountain Khaki's makes an excellent product but these are simply too irregular to be functional. I'm not sure these qualify as seconds, they're more like thirds or fourths. I'm not just some whiner either, I have rated every Sierra Trading Post product that I've purchased a 4 or 5 star. I would suggest that you save yourself some aggrevation and stay away from these pants. Try the Columbia Sidney's instead...they may not be as durable but they're cut correctly, true to size and they're actully cuter anyway. Or, you could consider ordering 10 pairs of MKs and maybe you'll get one or two that actually fit your body and then send the rest back. Or if you're handy with a sewing machine and don't mind plumber's crack you might be able to make these work. This product was very disappointing to me as this was my wife's first experience with Sierra Trading Post. I've been a customer for many years and have tried to get her to buy from STP since there's such a huge inventory of women's products. Finally, when she does place an order we get this junk. This product really should be removed from STP's inventory. [...] I still love you STP but I know you're getting massive returns on this product and you need to warn your customers about the issues...yes, you're a discounter but this falls below your standards.
fits well on my big booty By Jaimster from Colorado on 09/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, High Quality Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am normally a size 10/12. I have larger than average sized thighs and butt and stand at 5'8". After reading the other reviews I ordered a size 14 R. They were way too short and too large at the waist and thighs. I sent them back and got a 12L and they fit much better. I have to wear a belt so I don't start to moon anyone but they are comfortable on my butt and thighs and fall just where they should. I still wouldn't call them very long and wouldn't recommend them to my taller friends. I get many complements on them. They are very comfortable, soft and well made.

By Good Women Need Good Pants!! from Western NC on 09/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Outdoor work Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am really excited about these pants! This is my first pair as they are typically out of my price range. They are nice enough to wear to the office but will be able to take a beating in the field. The cut is great, it's nice to find a pair of work pants that don't look like my husband should be wearing them!

they are actually an older style, and the company updated this woman's pant. i really wanted the updated version of the women's teton twill.
