They are nice enough to wear with other pants as well, but the dark tan color looks particularly good with denim.

I would recommend ordering your true size as they will stretch.

I usually buy wide shoes for myself, but these boots accomodate my foot so well, that I don't feel I wear them. They are VERY WARM and very stylish! You can roll the top of the boot over, so a little bit of the sheerling is exposed, which looks great with pants and skirt, and then you can wear them easily under your pants as well.

I'm teaching thirty four years and I am on my feet all day. The first day I wore these 8 1/2 hours with no problem. I have a high instep and was concerned about the strap, but it was fine. When I ordered mine, I ordered a pair for my niece. She loves the fit also.
