excellant product, pure and simple By [...] from etowah, nc on 02/18/2009 Pros: BPA Free, Good Capacity, Retains Temperature, Slim Design Best Uses: Camping, Everyday, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: when drinking, there are water and air bubbles when the bottle is half full or less. It takes a little getting used to what is the best angle to hold the bottle. It would be dangerous while cycling because the angle of the bottle is so steep.
By mbhockey8 from Palmetto, FL on 02/11/2009 Cons: Hard to squeeze, Slow flow Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This bottle is better than the $40 one I purchased from [@] but I'm still not completely satisfied. The bottle must be squeezed very hard in order to get any water to come through the filter, I feel like I'm going to blow the top right off! It nearly takes two hands. And the water flow is too slow for my liking.
By cookie from Spring Lake MI on 12/23/2008 Pros: Good Capacity, Unique Design Best Uses: Camping, Cycling, Everyday, Gym, Hiking, River Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It took me awhile to figure out how to get the water to flow...I filled the container and turned it upside down overnight...I read the other hints on how to use..now just love the product

By squarebutte from Park City, Montana on 11/09/2008 Best Uses: Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used my nephew's Bota water bottle on a 4 day hike in the Beartooth Mtn's of Montana. It worked very well and had no problems with it.
By MK31 from NH on 11/08/2008 Pros: Convenient, Good Capacity, Light weight Best Uses: Camping, Hiking, River Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have not used this in the field as yet, however, the complaints I have read about do not seem to apply. The bottle squeezes OK, and the filter design seems foolproof.
By Christov_Tenn from Loathsome Stepford, Tennessee on 09/05/2008 Pros: BPA Free, Good Capacity, Impact Resistant, Inexpensive, Simple Cons: Kind of a tough squeeze Best Uses: Car Trunk for Emergencies, River Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I grew up in the Port of Los Angeles, though not actually in the harbor's waters. So anyway, earthquakes were pretty frequent. It behooves one to always have access to something that will make water potable.
By Average weekend warrior from San Diego on 08/20/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Product is good to keep in your pack for emergencies. Construction is fine, flow is a little slower than desired but more than adequate. Fellow hikers used and had no issues from lake water. Absolutely cannot beat the value.
Never worked - should have sent it back By BigJon from Marietta GA on 08/08/2008 Cons: Leaky Valve, Poor Construction What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the concept of the squeeze bottle water filter but try another brand. The quality of the plastic used will not support the amount of pressure required to push water through the filter and therefore it leaks like a sieve.
