It seems to retard the pain by warmth and protection. Looks goofy but seem to help.

By PierceTheVoid from Oklahoma City, OK on 07/19/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Softest work/garden gloves I've ever had, but they do run a little short in the fingers--at least in size medium.
By Catlady from Rural Kentucky on 07/17/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are easily the best gardening gloves I've ever owned! By E the gardener from Seattle, WA on 07/08/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my second (and third, bought two for myself, one for the person who gave me my first pair, and a pair each for Mom and Sister) of Bionic Gloves.
My first pair were a gift and were the normal, not rubberized fingertip variety. I wore them until I had holes in the thumb and forefinger.
They are simply fabulous gloves. They are snug and keep your hands from pooping out if you're like me and tend to weed for 3-hrs at a time. The new protected fingers seem like they'll make the gloves last even longer.
By savvy shopper from Midwest on 07/07/2008 Pros: Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Windproof Cons: Not Breathable, Not Weatherproof Best Uses: Gardeningoutdoor work Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these gloves for gardening and working outside. These are my 2nd pair. The first pair I bought a couple of years ago and they're worn out, but I usually wear out one pair of gloves each season, so durability is good. My only complaint -- they are a little too warm in hot weather. You can wash them in the washing machine and let them air dry and it doesn't hurt them, even though they're leather.
