These gloves are a MUST HAVE!!!!! By Patti D. from East Greenbush, NY on 04/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip, High Quality, Protective Best Uses: Heavy-Duty Pruning, Larger Gardening Jobs, Light Gardening, Pesticide/Chemical Use Describe Yourself: Avid Gardener Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I originally purchased these gloves for gardening. However, I just bought a house that needed some work, i.e. remove carpets, strip wallpaper, sand woodwork, etc... I'm 50 (something) years old and did all the work myself...THANKS to these gloves!! They are so durable and feel just GREAT! At the end of a long day working on the house...my hands are the only things that don't ache! After I washed them, they felt and looked brand new again. Caution: I have very small hands...and I bought a size Medium, which fit great...these gloves do run small.
gloves too small for a medium. By happy gardening from baltimore, md on 04/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip, High Quality, Protective, Waterproof Best Uses: Delicate Jobs, Larger Gardening Jobs, Light Gardening, Wet/Muddy Jobs Describe Yourself: Avid Gardener Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...] i ordered from another source. usually sierra is good about noting size discrepancies; if i'd known i would not have ordered. i gave one pair gloves to someone with truly small hands and will be returning the other.

By Artist from Woodside ca on 04/08/2009 Pros: Good Grip, High Quality Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Runs small. Gardening is full of beauty, but the look of these gloves is just too distracting.
By Master of Utopia from Bath, Ohio on 04/05/2009 Pros: Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip Best Uses: Gardening, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These run VERY small. For Example I bought the 2XL and they just fit, I usually take a M ! Other than that these are awesome. No more filthy handles and fingernails. Love the extra padding. They're like workout gloves for the garden.
By Gym Runner from Boston, MA on 04/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Protective Best Uses: Heavy-Duty Pruning, Larger Gardening Jobs, Light Gardening Describe Yourself: Getting Started Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The size varies on these gloves. But I found a pair that fit perfectly. The 2nd one, which was the same size, was too tight.
By Kim from Berlin, Germany on 04/03/2009 Pros: Good Grip, Protective Best Uses: Delicate Jobs, Heavy-Duty Pruning, Larger Gardening Jobs, Light Gardening Describe Yourself: Avid Gardener Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These gloves are very good, but just a bit uncomfortable. The fingertips were a bit "wonky" (kind of squared off instead of rounded), but not TOO bad. I usually wear a medium, maybe a large would have been a good idea.
snug fit, yet still provides movement By hay fever from bay area on 04/03/2009 Pros: Good Grip, High Quality Describe Yourself: Avid Gardener Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Use it for everything: pruning, weeding (with the weeder or by hand), raking and even watering. I never take it off working in the yard.
Be sure you order the next size up. Because my hands are 7 inches across the palm, I normally wear small. But I ordered a medium based on the feedback and I'm glad I did because it fit snugly.
Waiting for spring to try it out... By Minky from Boston, MA on 03/06/2009 Pros: Good Grip, High Quality, Protective Best Uses: Heavy-Duty Pruning, Larger Gardening Jobs, Light Gardening Describe Yourself: Getting Started Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Seems like this is a good protective glove that allows for mobility!
