Keep hyrdated while casting away. By Lee from Rural Valley, PA on 01/12/2009 Pros: Easy To Use, Functional Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: With water flowing all around you and no where to quench you thirst this over the shoulder chest pack with hydration bladder should be the ticket. I haven't used it yet, since it's the middle of winter here in PA, but I like the design and quality of the product. Geared to the fly fisherman, it think it can be adapted to bait or artificial lure lovers. It does have limited cargo pockets and therefore limited space, but it will carry enough fishing gear for many hours of fun. I'd wear it over a fishing shirt, jacket or even a vest, to give you the extra carrying capacity for all day adventures on your favorite stream or river.
Good bag but no instructions By supportive wife from central texas on 01/08/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain Cons: Confusing how to use Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got this for my husband and we almost returned it. There are lots of pieces and velcro and no clear indication of what goes where. I think he is still confused where his lures go. however, it is a good size, he can carry his fishing rods attached to hit, there is room for a 6-pack so overall it is useful
By Goobs from Harrisburg, PA on 12/28/2008 Pros: Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: Fresh Water, Salt Water Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm trying to get more organized and I saw this bag and figured, why not?
It's a great deal for the money and will go a long way towards organizing my numerous fly reels and spare fly boxes so I'll be much less likely to misplace something.
It seems to be well made and it has plenty of storage space and it didn't cost an arm and a leg!

Four stars and possibly more! By the wooden canoe from Rochester, MN on 11/07/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Fresh Water Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The season had just closed when this vest was offered. I give it 4+ stars upon opening the package; I'd likely give it 5 after a season's use. It appears to have even more features and flexibility than I had expected. I'm looking forward to next years opener to see how it really performs.
Best Hydration Vest for the Dollar By Joe Bo from Colorado on 08/30/2008 Pros: Easy To Use, Functional, Lots of storage, Well organized Best Uses: Fresh Water, Traveling Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is one of the best products I have purchase so far from Sierra. I wanted a hydration vest that was comfortable, could carry my 6 fly boxes, and all my gadgets, including my camera. Well I got all the functions I was looking for 1/3 the price of the more well known name brands.
By Fly Guy from Manchester, NH on 08/25/2008 Cons: Poor Construction, Poor Design Best Uses: Fresh Water, Salt Water Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is made with a shoe string and a cord lock and does not use clips with swivels. The better models are made with wire with a short piece of mono as a safety link. The wire models have some body to them to keep the tools from hanging in a clump and have swivels on the clips to allow the tools to be manipulated easier. I like using a lanyard when it's too hot for a vest but would recommend one of the better models. [...]
Bladder broke after 2 time use By hengone from WA on 08/21/2008 Pros: Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: Fresh Water, Salt Water Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this chest pack 2 times and the bladder connected to water bag broke. It is appear that the connection from the water bag and the bladder are maded with cheap quality material. The chest pack it self work like a charm.
