really a handy tool. Useful on kickboat By fish carver from Lehi, Utah on 07/24/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use it on my kickboat so I don't have to wear a vest.
By Fish on! from Michigan on 07/17/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice double fly rod case and great for carrying two standard 4pc. rods. However, my 8wt with fighting but is a tight fit with a standard size reel. If you plan to carry two rods with large reels, it may not be the case for you.
Does what it's supposed to By CB from SW PA on 07/10/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have only had this case for a few days but it's seems more than adequate and comes as described. If you have 9' or shorter 4 piece rods (which most of mine are) then this is a great dual rod carrying case for the price. Hopefully it will withstand the test of time.

Decent Case fits 10WT 9ft with reel By Labrati from Hot Springs, AR on 05/08/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Transport Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Decent case, fits a 10wt rod (9ft) with fighting butt and 10wt mid arbor reel with reel case (neoprene) just fine. Would have loved it if it had dividers. Travels easy.

By Go Fish from Pheonix, AZ on 04/28/2008 Pros: Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: Fresh Water, Traveling Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I gave this product a 4, because I have yet to find a pack that is truly perfect. This one is however very good and probably more like a 4.5. It's light weight and seems to have adequate space for a day-trip. I really like the mesh backs (for breathability), the hidden zingers (on bottom), hydration bladder, d-ring on back and it can convert to a single unit belt pack. Included belt has an additional d-ring; a nice plus. With some creative ingenuity it can also be modified to act as a single unit chest pack, which may be more practical if you don't need the extra capacity. I'm 5'10", approx. 200 lbs and with both front packs, it does interfere with my cast just a bit. For a larger person this probably won't be an issue, but for a smaller person it could be a possible concern. In conclusion, the only suggestion for improving (that I can think of anyway) would be a rod holding strap. But at this price it is still an excellent value.
By twentyincher from logan, utah on 04/20/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This case is advertised for a 4-piece rod and "expensive tackle". It is the correct length but there are no sleeve separations for the four rod pieces and the diameter of the case is too small therefore the rod pieces rub against one another in transit and when inserted and removed from the case. The reel case portion has a faux sheepskin lining but that doesn't help protect the rod pieces. I will return this product for a refund and don't recommend it for any but the least expensive rods.
