This is a great drover coat! By Mountain High Cabin's Godfather from Wauconda, WA on 01/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Ranching, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a true drover coat. It is waxed rather than just oilskin. It has a generous gusset for riding as well as a fit that allows for your insulated coveralls and for the necessary movement that comes with ranch work. I would have liked the option of a larger cape or a second cape. The Pacific Northwest rains enough to make the extra weight worth it.
Aussie Riding Coat a Hit in Boston By Walks a Lot from Boston, MA on 12/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Keeps slacks Dry, Windproof Best Uses: Bad weather Protection, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Anyone using Boston Public Transportation knows that keeping Dry is a Big Problem. Rain Coats that fall above the knee, direct runoff directly onto the slacks making for a cold soggy start to the day. This coat is long enough to protect the slacks and ensure a much drier trip to the office. This coat has a presence and look that is best suited to a taller man.
