Well packed for protection, but not very attractive packaging for gift giving. Bought for gift swap but will probably keep rather than rebox.
Could be used with citronella oil on patio (need several for this) or might be better with scented oil for inside use since oxidation will be less of a problem if it is not left outside.

But it's well made and pretty. I liked it because it has clean liines and it will become green outside.
We have a very wet climate so it has to be sturdy, and it is light enough that it's not going to mar anything else.
A great time to be buying decorative items, rather than the wonter holidays.
Now, if you could come up with a 6-pointed star I'd be really happy.

I imagine that it would be just as striking on a barn, or anywhere else one might wish to hang it.

When she opened the package (she did not know what was in it), her jaw literally dropped open! In it's simplicity, this is truly a magnificent piece of art. This would work well as a focal point or incorporated into a larger design. It would work well in a variety of settings: modern, traditional, country, minimalist, upscale. The rain chain is made of a good, heavy copper and looks very attractive when installed. But when we tested it by spraying water on the roof, the water did not flow down the chain as I thought it was supposed to, but splashed all over the place. I will install it in a place where splashing is not an issue, but won't order more for my other gutters as I had planned to do.
