Inner Roof of Shoe needs IMprovement By the octegarian from Eastern Shore of Maryland on 04/15/2009 Cons: Inside roof coarse, Rubs top of foot, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoe appears very durable but inner roof rubs against top of toes. Maybe I need to wear thicker socks.
By serious walker from hartford CT on 04/13/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Flexible Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement, Walking Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These aren't like any of my other walking shoes/sandals (ecco, earth, MBT). They look enormous, and I almost returned them for that reason. I am sooo glad I didn't. The black toe cap helps them look shorter. I ordered 11 (I'm a US 10 1/2 N) because European shoes seem to loose a half size in translation, and of course they are wide. I added my own flat-heel, very supportive insole and wear thick socks. That kept the negative heel and let me tighten them. They are roomy but not at all clumsy. There is more cushioning than I am used to, but not at all bouncy (I don't like bouncy!). I did 5 miles on paved surfaces my first time out with them w/o any problems.
By Elenar from Bellingham, WA on 04/08/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband was impressed by the technology, being an engineer, and was eager to try them. The first pair was just a bit small, but we got the next half size up, and it was perfect with the first of the two choices of insole. A quality product at a great price.
Different style = sixing nightmare! By Kathryn the mail order shopper from Gardiner, NY on 03/31/2009 Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This style of the Boost ran an entire size smaller than the regular Boost walking shoe (non-nordic)[...] Why such a size difference between 2 styles of the same brand??
By Hobbit from Connecticut on 03/30/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Writeup suggest they may be sized small. An understatement...they are a full size+ smaller than they are listed.

By the walker from Kensington MD on 01/27/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought these shoes from the discription would fit the bill for me. I walk 5 or more miles a day and am hard on shoes. I was realy dissapointed. I read all the reviews before I ordered. These shoes have a very narrow toe box and were a size to short. I returned them. They are well made though and if they fit would have been very nice.
By Mary in AZ from Southern AZ on 01/21/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Durable, Sturdy Best Uses: Endurance Training, Nordic walking with poles, Pavement, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes hoping to add to my nordic walking poles daily use. I wear out the pole tips every 3-4 months on pavement so I thought having a sturdy shoe made for this type of walking/training would be great and improve my level of walk fitness. Unfortunately I wore them only once (great anticipation too) and got 2 very large blisters in only 3 miles. When I broke in my new NB country walkers (also from STP) I had no problems. I would be interested in trying another pair/style or newer model again.
By Super Dave from Knoxville, Tennessee on 01/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flexible Best Uses: Everyday wear, Pavement, Walking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was skeptical about buying shoes over the internet, but it has worked out great. These are well worth the money and they look better in hand than they did in the pictures.
By Science Geek from Portland, OR on 12/29/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Stable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these to relieve back fatigue as I work on my feet in a science center. So far so good after a week. I initially experienced minor irritation of plantar and achilles tendon due to the negative heel design but once I got stretched out it is gone.
