By Cycling Queen from Charleston, SC on 09/15/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight, Sleek Best Uses: Competition, Cyclingbiking, Running, Triathalon Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these shorts. Perfect length (not too long) and just the right amount of padding for rides around 20-30 miles (maybe longer depending on your bike posture). I love the fit of the short, but I agree with the other reviews that the gripping leg-bands are a little tight around my thigh. However, that would be a good thing if I decide to use these as tri shorts.
By Touchpass from New Jersey on 08/29/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shirt for a great price!
Great for swimming and biking By Trying the Tri from Princeton, NJ on 06/29/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Competition, Gym, Shorter bike rides Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've used these to train for a sprint triathalon and they've been great in the water and on the bike. I'll race in them in a month. I wear a small in regular clothes, but the medium in these is perfect for me.
Lightweight and Fast Drying By MCBBurton from Orange County, CA on 05/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight Best Uses: Competition, Gym, Running, Team Sports Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The fit was great except the elastic at the leg hems is VERY tight. the shorts are roomy until that point, then they almost feel restricting. You can tell when you look at them that they don't have a ton of give at the hems. Still worked well.
By Sooner Schooner Pilot from Eucha, OK on 02/26/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable Best Uses: Running, Sports, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Stitching popped around base, I'm larger 5'8" 225lbs and tends to ride up while running. Haven't biked or swam in it yet.
By Hooked on tri from San Antonio, TX on 02/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've worn these shorts for brick workouts of running and cycling. They are great! Really comfortable, the padding doesn't shift and the shorts stay put. I haven't been in the water with them yet, but I think they will perform nicely and not stretch out or become baggy. The only thing I'd like to be different is the leg grippers...just a little too tight.
By avg2000miles/year from Crestwood, KY on 01/08/2009 Pros: Looks like a quality item Cons: No front liner, Too tight Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My waist measures 37" or 36" snug. The L size just seemed too tight everywhere. There wasn't a front liner like swimming "jammers" have. I'm keeping the Zoot (item# 1377N) I also ordered in XL. It has a front liner, 2 nice pockets on your hips, and better use of reflective material in my opinion.
By Stock R from Canada on 08/25/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable Best Uses: Running, Triathlon Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The top is great for triathlons. It fits well and doesn't hold water. The side pockets are a bit of a problem as they'll catch water during the swim leg of a tri.
The pictures are a bit deceptive as the actual top is 50% black 50% white.
By Stock R from Canada on 08/25/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement Cons: Loose threads in stitchin Best Uses: Competition, Running, Triathlon Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shorts are pretty good for triathlons. The material is great for swimming and running. The padding is a bit thin for cycling. I was getting hot spots in my groin area after 20kms.
The shorts had a few stray threads from the stitching but it's not falling apart.
Chintzy best describes these! By hugglynn from Pennyslvania on 08/16/2008 Cons: Poor Fit, Thin Fabric Best Uses: Competition, Low mileage cycling Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shorts look like they are made to fit girls, not women. I am a size 6 and even ordered up to a size L and could barely squeeze into them. Plus, the fabric is ultra thin. Sending them back!
