The watch is being returned to STP for refund.

It's very functional: it has a second hand; very clear markings for reading the time; includes the date. It self-winds when worn, and the manual says it might stop if I fail to wear it for an extended time. Could be a hassle to get it re-started; or maybe not.

Therefore I surprised when the watch did not keep time. I took it to a jeweler thinking that a battery swap might solve the problem--another [$]. It didn't. My advice is DO NOT RISK BUYING THIS WATCH. It is expensive and defective. It looks nice and does not work. I am deeply disappointed in Sierra, a company I have trusted, for selling lemons [as you will see other reviews corroborate my experience].

Too bad as it is a amazing watch... I was hoping it could be opened and changed but no game on that. Didn't want to return as it was a gift but won't be used on the seas.
