By the bargain shopper from nm on 06/28/2009 Pros: Good Quality, Reliable Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The watch was very attractive and high quality. I love the fact that the leather band had been treated so that it would last a lot longer. The only reason I returned it after much agonizing was that there was too much detail on the face of the watch which was distracting to me. Otherwise a great value
By En from Pacific Northwest on 06/26/2009 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Fashionable, Good Quality, Reliable Best Uses: Everyday, Formal Describe Yourself: High End Shopper, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have you had it with cheap, low-end watches that break after 6 months of wear? Then this is the watch for you! Buy a stylish, Swiss Army watch for the price of a watch from the big box stores. Fine leather strap, water resistant, Swiss works are all part of the deal.
By m__k from denver,co on 06/26/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The watch had dirt between the face and the crystal. I knew that it would be refurbished, but I expected it to look like new, not dirty.
Don't know yet, waiting for replacement By currently waiting from long island, ny on 06/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Athletic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Watch I received did not work.I am waiting for a replacement. So far very disappointing.
Attractive, nice dial, band in fine. By WhippedPuppy from San Antonio, TX on 06/25/2009 Pros: Easy To Read, Good Quality, Reliable Cons: Band could be better Describe Yourself: Athletic, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm rough on watches. Just broke the crystal on my nice timex....bought this one for the reputation. This refurbished watch shows no indication of a 2nd quality. Very please with the quality and, just as importantly, the great price!
By Mountain mama from Park City, UT on 06/22/2009 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Fashionable, Good Quality, Reliable Describe Yourself: Athletic, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a nice looking, stylish watch that was durable enough for my mountain bike rides and runs but classy enough for every day wear. I had a few links removed since I have skinny wrists and it fits perfectly now. I'm not into fancy features; I just want to know the time. This watch is everything I expected it to be.
The stem fell off. Not a good sign. By Fell off the Orient Express from Apache Junction, Arizona on 06/18/2009 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Looks great, Stylish Describe Yourself: Classic, High End Shopper, Stylish, Watch lover Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Most watch lovers know that Swiss Army watches are usually better quality than Wenger. But that doesn't mean Wenger watches have stems that fall off while trying to set the watch. All I can say is I must have gotten another bad one, which happens, no matter what the original price sticker says. [...] Hopefully you'll either get the same watch without any problems, or another that's problem free, or maybe something else you've been wanting.Personally, no more watches for me.
Great watch for the price By Coach from Sarasota, Fl on 06/16/2009 Pros: Good Quality, Luninous hands, Stylish Describe Yourself: Athletic, Sculling coach Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Product was as advertised, a reconditioned/used watch. Very stylish and it does a good job of replacing my 20 yr old seiko kenetic whose capacitor died. Only fault is that watch was missing luninous marker at 12 o'clock position on rotating bezel. But that is no big deal. Great value for a swiss military watch.
Solid, simple, attractive watch By Charlie M. from San Diego, Calif. on 06/15/2009 Pros: Easy To Read, Good Quality, Reliable, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like the simplicity and classic looks of this Swiss-made Wenger watch. I got an incredible STP deal on the version w/the black band and it's very stylish and sharp looking. Seems to keep perfect time so far, and there are only very slight (I mean VERY slight!) signs of wear on the case back, as this is a reconditioned watch. Although it's not a small watch, it is much lighter and thinner than some other watches I usually wear such as Invicta, Casio G-Shock, Casio Sport Diver, etc. The numbers are distinct and easy to read, and the magnifier lens over the date window is a nice feature. Only complaint is that the flip-up metal crown protector is hard to unfasten, and I need to use a small screwdriver to snap it open.
Quality watch, band is shorter than most By Mare from St. Louis, MO on 06/15/2009 Cons: Band is short, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A qualtiy watch with a shorter than most watch band. Although I have only had it a short time it seems sturdy. Easily readable numbers on the face.
