By Charlie from North Idaho on 11/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Cons: Doesn't Breathe, Inadequate Protection Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wrote my 1st review without a good test. The coat feels great and with the liner it is real warm. I wanted the coat to wear while hiking in rain, snow and cold weather. It will not work for this use. It wicks but it does not breathe. I wore it for a short 4 mile walk in light snow. I was wet when I had finished my walk. It did not breathe and it did not keep me dry. I wore it again, (without the liner). It was not snowing or raining but I was wet because it does not breathe. I will wear it for some other cold weather activity wear I do not need it to breathe.
By Holly from Glen, NH on 11/13/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great light weight jacket. Am returning it for a larger size...should do the trick.
By Pollywog from Woodbury, MN on 11/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I actually wear these as pants out during the day. They look good with the right top. They are a warm, comfortable alternative to jeans.
By Wiley Family from Helena, MT on 11/13/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: There is a big difference between the medium and large in the chest size, but over all this is a very nice jacket.
Great product. Great value! By Satellite from Manson, Washington on 11/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Looking forward to using this jacket for downhill skiing this winter. The layers should make it flexible enough to adjust to the weather. It may need extra bulk in really cold weather. It seems on the light side. Great jacket for the money!
Nice, but runs large. Cuffs too loose. By I B Flyfisher from NC Mountains on 11/12/2009 Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted to use it next to skin, but with no elastic in the cuffs it did not suit me.
By RG from Cincinnati on 11/12/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like how warm and soft this jacket is. I bought an "XL" (that's the size I normally wear), but the jacket feels very snug around the hips, so I don't usually zip it up. I usually just wear it around the house. Other than that, I really like it.
By active mom from Hamilton Montana on 11/12/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is fine for travel to and from school. Need extra layers for days at the ski hill.
By Lost in North Rockies & Pinecone Country from Libby, MT on 11/11/2009 Pros: Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These jackets I bought two seem very nice. Fit well and true. Haven't washed but as with anything made of this type of fleece you are best to not wash with anything that lints or could pill it. It doesn't appear to pill easy so that's good. I'll wear it mostly with the smoother side out. And since it reverses then the arm is not lined with silky material and can be a tad difficult to pull over some bulkier tops. Otherwise these are a great bargain. I only wish I'd found them before they ran out of the Brown...otherwise I'd have gotten some as gifts too. No hood is nice for a change too.
By Minnesota Quilter from Grand Rapids, Minnesota on 11/10/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I feel the color of the plain sleeves is a different shade than the background of the patterned body of this jacket.
