By goelvis from Portland, OR on 09/04/2009 Pros: A MONSTER LOCK, Durable, Easy to Use, Versatile Cons: Bulky, Heavy But it SHOULD be Best Uses: In PDX Bike theft heaven Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This lock is a beast, as nice or nicer than a[$]Kryptonite. I'm here in Portland, OR, and there are hundreds of bikes stolen every week....no one is going to mess with this lock!
By 07rescue from New York, NY on 08/03/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Use Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This appears to be a trustworthy and very strong bike lock. I use it in Manhattan, infamous for bike theft, where even in broad daylight bicycles are stolen with impunity. I need to add a cable lock for the wheels, and remove the seat and carry it with me, but most important is this U lock for the bike frame. It is heavy, but no more so than other quality U locks, and weighs less than the big chain locks. This will serve it's purpose well, at a terrific price!
By Beckyleeprice from Pittsburgh, PA on 07/29/2009 Cons: Bulky, Too big, Tough to Install Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great lock for the money but was too big for my bike and had to be returned. It's also very heavy and bulky.
By new commuter biker from DC metro area on 07/18/2009 Cons: Bulky, Tough to Install Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This bike lock feels very strong and I feel secure using it. However, it is very heavy and I would like to have something a little lighter to cart around as a commuter biker. Also, it's so big that for my bike, I wasn't able to find a place to install the bracket at all, so I will have to carry it in a bag or some other method.
Adequate Lock; good value for price By Tim_the_BAld from Little Elm, TX on 07/07/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Use Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good lock to leave someplace where you ride your bike to every day, like work. Has a nice little plastic cover to keep keyhole clean.
Wow! Strong, but h-e-a-v-y. By KMary D from Baton Rouge, LA on 06/29/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Use Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This lock is intimidating, it's so tough -- and that's what we wanted. But, oh my goodness, it weighs as much as the bike!
Great Ti frame, but overpriced here By Ryan Cycles from SE on 04/25/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Handles Well, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Lynskey is a beautiful handmade Titanium frame, but the price is not a good value here at STP. [...]Nothing bad to say about the frame.
By bergkoning from The Netherlands on 07/24/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Handles Well, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Shipped this frame to europe and built it up with Ultegra SL. I think it's the best titanium frame you can buy! The fork is about 300 gram. pro-teams in the Tour de France use this fork.
