By ATC Dreamer from Knoxville, TN on 03/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is surprisingly warm considering how lightweight the material is. The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars is the lack of an interior pocket, which the description says it has. Mine has no pockets on the inside. However, I love the look and performance of this jacket, and recommend it highly.
By 3BlackDogs from The Gorge on 03/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Waist to inseam length was about 6"-8" longer than I am.
Just what I was looking for. By Maggie from Middlebury, Vermont on 02/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Perfect for XC skiing and hiking as armholes have plenty of room for movement. Can fit several thinner layers underneath. Pit zips help ventilate when body heats up. Perfect number of useful pockets. Not any unnecessary bells and whistles. Would be really great with a thin hood zipped into collar, but is still great without that.
By Steamboat Dave from Steamboat Springs, CO on 01/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Water-resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product, I'm now a Solstice fan. Basic softshell, nothing fancy, more of a utility cut than an athletic one. Their proprietary fabric is light but warm, thanks to the fuzzy interior side. I wore this for a fantastic day of cat-skiing last weekend, with 2 breathable layers underneath - I was perfectly dressed for the day. By Biker from Naperville, IL on 12/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Biking Hiking Shoveling, Downhill, Mountaineering, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had planned to use these biking but could not get the waist over my hips. The waist is not proportioned properly. The material was exactly what I was looking for and I was so disappointed that they did not fit!
By Julie from Tallahassee, FL on 11/27/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved the color of this jacket, even though I was sent the wrong one, and I REALLY wanted it to work out. As another reviewer noted however, the fit across the back is all wrong (unless you are VERY "apple-shaped"). The jacket was so big through the waist and back that the fabric was all bunched up and it just looked...sloppy. It's too bad b/c I loved the material, the color(s)and "extras". Had to return it. :(
