By MrBobzilla from Ventura, CA on 08/19/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good Ventilation, Lightweight, Padding Dries Quickly Best Uses: Boarding, Boating, Canyoning, Water Sports Describe Yourself: Recreational User Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally use a size 7 3/8 hat size and I wasn't sure if this helmet would work in size "L", but it did. The adjusting straps helped to give this helmet a nice fit and it worked for me as well as my son, who wears almost a full hat-size smaller than me. The helmet is very rugged and it gives the wearer a clear field of vision without feeling too bulky or too heavy. The value is as impressive as the quality.
By Gecko from Smyrna, GA (near Atlanta) on 07/15/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Unconfortable Describe Yourself: Recreational User Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Item is not versital enough to adjusting to fit properly. Can we say crash and burn on that solection.
By sportsgirl from UT on 07/05/2009 Pros: Good Ventilation, Lightweight Cons: Difficult to Adjust, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It fits my head ok but the ear flaps stick out away from the head and are not really adjustable. Also, the ear flaps are substantial and not really what I wanted.
By Estebaneddyfence from Los Angeles, California on 06/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced User Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: poor fit as helmet rests only on front and back of head and cannot be adjusted with materials provided. would work best on a round head, like JACK, The hamberger chain's spokesman. Made my own adjusting materials. Voz sports web site and phones are not working, so no help there. Non- slippery surface seems to be a disadvantage as helmet should slide over obstacles.
By John from Long Beach island New Jersey on 05/31/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good Ventilation, Lightweight, Padding Dries Quickly Best Uses: Boarding, Boating, Canyoning, Water Sports Describe Yourself: Recreational User Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits great. I removed the ear covers for the type of kayaking i was doing. Took alittle work but made the helmet more comfortable and airy.

By Kayaker DDS from Taos, NM on 05/09/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Padding Dries Quickly Best Uses: Boating, Water Sports Describe Yourself: Advanced User Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the helmet. I purchased and XL size and have a large head. It seemed to fit me very well. The price was great. I had an older helmet that was not near the protection and fit of this one. This is my second year using it and it has held up in every way. I like the back adjusting strap. It is like a bike helmet with no slop.
By MacInsane from Dallas, TX on 04/29/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good Ventilation, Lightweight, Padding Dries Quickly Describe Yourself: Advanced User Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This helmet takes a little while to figure out as far as adjusting. Once you have it dialed in, the fit is secure and comfortable without being too tight. I removed the ear covers without too much difficulty for my most recent kayak trip.
By windkitekayaker from the gorge on 09/24/2008 Pros: Adjustable, Good Ventilation, Lightweight Best Uses: Boarding, Boating, Water Sports Describe Yourself: Advanced User Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the helmet fits tight once you ratchet the skull strap down. some people may not like the snug fit but i can not tolerate unneeded slop in helmet fit so it is good for me. quality is good. the optional fins are a bit hokey but i will sport the largest one for the hell of it. since it is deep colored black i would be wary of leaving it under the sun (e.g. hatchback, or beach) the small lip/visor is a nice design. might even use it skiing.
