Great for ultralight backpacking in fall and spring when you need extra warmth for chilly evening temps. Great layer over fleece or under a rain shell.

Do like.

True to size, fitted just enough so you don't look like the Michelin man. It is very lightweight yet warm. It's my first Puffa vest, and I'm sold!
By Shazam70 from Denver, CO on 04/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Not Warm Enough for Fill Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a good vest, but rather on the light side and not as warm as I first imagined it would be, according to the fill count. Suggested reviews add to go up in size allowed the vest to fit me better (I'm size 12, but ordered 14).

By cowgirl and skier from central California on 02/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering Fit, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have several down vests, and wear them a lot, so always searching for another one! The outer fabric on this one is nice looking, but it attracts dust, lint, etc. The "stuff" it attracts doesn't want to brush off easily either. My other vests just don't do that! I did order the black "puffa", so it is noticeable on this color. The fit is flattering, the two way zipper is great! I can't keep this vest though because it won't stay looking good for long. Must have fashion and function in one!

By MWM from Albany, OR on 02/20/2009 Cons: Leaks down from seams, Not Enough Pockets or Features, Wears Out Quickly Best Uses: Best for light activities, Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this for casual wear in the winter. It is very light, stuffable and generally comfortable. As others have noted it is a little small across the chest and could be longer in the arms, but not to the point of confining movement. The back length is fine. It could use an additional inside pocket. It is generally suitable for walking or light hiking, outdoor chores or knocking around. Not for wet conditions unless worn under a shell. Be aware that the seams are sewn through, which would result in cold spots and prevent its use for more extreme activities. Also, it leaks small amounts of down through the seams. It is a good product for light activities at the price I paid ([$] after coupon). It would not be worth the retail price.
