By MWM from Albany, OR on 02/20/2009 Cons: Leaks down from seams, Not Enough Pockets or Features, Wears Out Quickly Best Uses: Best for light activities, Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this for casual wear in the winter. It is very light, stuffable and generally comfortable. As others have noted it is a little small across the chest and could be longer in the arms, but not to the point of confining movement. The back length is fine. It could use an additional inside pocket. It is generally suitable for walking or light hiking, outdoor chores or knocking around. Not for wet conditions unless worn under a shell. Be aware that the seams are sewn through, which would result in cold spots and prevent its use for more extreme activities. Also, it leaks small amounts of down through the seams. It is a good product for light activities at the price I paid ([$] after coupon). It would not be worth the retail price.

nice (but not perfect) down vest By Yohimbe the Chef from Carbondale, Il on 01/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is mostly a great vest. There are 2 things I dislike about it and both are based on zippers. The zipper on the vest as a huge plastic pull tag that says "puffa" on it this tag is both annoying and ugly. Next the zipper on the stuff sack has a ribbon attached to it and the sack, this gets in the way and makes it difficult to close the sack... overall, aside from those design flaws, its a great vest for the price.
