By SR88 from Colorado on 12/15/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Own stuff bag, Warm Cons: Pockets could be deeper Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased for extra-layer winter warmth in Search & Rescue pack so needed to pack small and light which it does.
Very nice. Warm but not bulky. By John Sternberg from Denver, CO on 12/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Portable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this jacket for it being light-weight and not bulky. It's hard to find a down jacket like this now but I am glad I did. Another thing I want to mention is that this jacket comes with a bag so you could just put away the jacket in the bag after you enter the office. Very convenient! GREAT BUY!
By 3dvizwiz from Boulder, CO on 12/09/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This felt (and looked) about two sizes too big, even when accounting for British sizing (e.g., add one size to a US size). I returned it, and was sad.
By 3dvizwiz from Boulder, CO on 12/09/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The sleeve length was great for a tall girl, but the body was short. It's also a boxy style, which didn't flatter me very well. It was returned.
Cool vest, except for this CREST! By Unsatisfied from Chicago, IL on 12/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Crest, Misleading picture Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Great vest, however. The picture shows this vest as plain black, with the word "Puffa" on the pocket. The reality is that this vest has a a huge, hideous red crest on the front right breast. Think family crest. Not good. I'm returning this vest based on false advertising.
Other than that, very well fitted and warm vest.
high end jacket for discount price! By Amy from Boulder, CO on 11/27/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Inadequate Protection, Not Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket is very lightweight and comfortable but runs small so order a size bigger. The material stains easily and is not very rugged so this is definitely a townie jacket. It is warm but not sufficient for colder than 40 degrees Farenheight. It has the perfect amount of puffiness as to not make you look like a marshmellow. Many people have complemented me on the fit and color (iron - which is like clay). The other color graphite - which I thought was grey - is more like a dark brown. Overall, it is a quality coat for the price...
By dog lady from kentucky on 11/20/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the weight and flattering fit, but am not sure if it will be warm enough for below freezing walks.
By Mountains and deserts without end from Santa Fe, NM on 11/19/2008 Pros: Beautiful gunmetal color, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice as a layer to wear alone or under a shell if it gets cold. So light I plan to use it as a staple when traveling. Also is like a down sweator so I wear inside too on cold mornings. I went up a size as suggested and it fit well, just a bit roomy. I also bought the vest by same company and love it too.
