By Arctic Sunflower from Anchorage on 11/12/2009 Pros: Flattering, Great Color, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautiful and flattering. Gorgeous color. Warm but not heavy. I took it on a trip with me and it packed well and it dressed up or down. I live in Alaska where the temp varies both inside and outside a lot and I am going to get a lot of use out of this pretty sweater. Often alpaca sweaters look cheap and run short in the arms and huge in the body. Not this one.

Today I am wearing it to lunch, with a black turtleneck and a pair of black slacks. I love the softness and warmth of alpaca.

I was disappointed that the Alpaca wasn't as soft as expected. I had read that Alpaca was softer than cashmere and I have a lot of cashmere that is softer than this sweater.

By Another old lady from Phoenix, AZ on 07/20/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Length, Soft, Warm Best Uses: As A Fashion Accessory, Formal Events, Going Out Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After looking at many scarves and wraps for a good red one, this is it. It is well-made with rich detail, and the pattern makes the colors more versatile. The reverse is a little orangish compared to the "right" side. It could be used with casual clothes, I suppose, but think it's better with a dressier outfit.

The silk is substantial, yet very soft. Design is woven in, not printed on. Length and drape make this a versatile accessory.
