Excellent jacket, Euro sizing By JG from Fairfield County, CT on 08/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Please note that the size is not cited as European on STP site. My size 50 fits me perfectly, and I am a US 39/40 Reg jacket (Sleeves a tad long - I am 5'8") Great quality jacket.

By outdoors in CA from San Carlos, CA on 07/13/2009 Best Uses: Equestrian, Fitness Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my 8 yr old daughter who is just beginning to ride horses. She had another pair of breeches that were lightweight but starting to thin out. The quality of those breeches doesn't come close to Georg Schumacher. These Georg Schumacher are so well made, ribbed, stretch easier but go back to size, comfortable and a bit heavier in weight. She can wear these in the summer as well as in on the colder days. I can see these lasting a long time. I ordered a slightly larger size for her but it comes with belt tabs. I would buy another pair in a heart beat. Great price for such a high quality brand.
Lovely breeches at a great price!!! By Rebecca the Equestrian from Detroit, Mi on 07/09/2009 Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Breeches fit great! I love the full seat, and the material is lightweight and comfortable.
By Redtractorranch from California on 06/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally wear a 28L in Devonair/Tuffrider. I had to return these and order up because I found them to run small. In the ribbed version I took a 30. I am very long waisted and the long's waist was up to my ribcage, so for the first time ever, I needed a regular. The material has a lot of give. I typically have a hard time finding breeches that don't gap at the waist and are still loose enough that I can mount a horse. These fulfilled both needs. Once I got the size dialed in they are great and I was on a horse in them within 15 min. of UPS delivering. The material is of excellent quality, but it as it is thick, I was very hot riding in the 90 degree heat. I look forward to riding in these in the winter, though.
By Sporty from Edmonton, Alberta on 06/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Good Fit, Lightweight, Versatile Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The moment you pick up these pants, you know this is quality stuff. Really well made, good cut and the sizing is as described - not like guessing on some European brands.
nice, but wrinkled in the back By kate the pony rider from ithaca, ny on 06/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Cons: Poor Material or Construction Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved the fabric, but there were so many wrinkles where the back panel was inset that I returned the item.
By HuntsWithHorses from The Great Northwest on 11/14/2008 Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Top-notch German-made riding coat at a good price. However, the "size 50" is misleading. That's apparently a German 50, as this coat is also labeled as a GB34R, and the chest measures approx. 40". So it's NOT a 50" chest, and there is no American sizing in the jacket. I'm giving it 4 stars because the QUALITY is excellent[...]
