This was purchased for my son, and we all use it and think its one of the coolest toys ever. You can use the rechargeable battery pack, or/while its charging you can use the optional battery pack that you can load regular batteries into for all most non-stop action.

Great price on a well made and easy to control pool toy. The remote control has a distance of at least 40 feet and I like the fact that it's waterproof---just in case you drop it in the water. The shark does every advertised and even goes backwards.

I have been searching for an easy to set up and durable basketball set for my swimming pool for several years now! I have FINALLY found it in this one!! A bit on the large size but built to last. No more spending hours putting half-ring pieces together only to have them fall apart in the pool!

SwimWays Radio Controlled Cyborg Shark

Pretty darn shark-like, and a lot of fun
By boldarticleVerified Reviewer from Western Massachusetts on 07/20/2009
Pros:
75 foot range, Attractive Design, Fun to drive
Cons:
Req sm screwdrivers
Best Uses:
Outside
Describe Yourself:
Midrange Shopper
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The shark is a little fussy to put together; needs small diameter screwdrivers to get into belly where batteries go; wire harness for 9V in remote is too short. Once the assembly hurdles are over, though, the shark is a gas. We live on a lake, and the range is well above the 50 feet the box claims. It dives, circles, backs up. The fish in the lake followed it around. We're thinking of getting another and starting a school!!

I live in south Florida and like to maintain a tan all year round. This pool is perfect for my needs. I lay on a small raft in the pool to keep myself cool on those hot days.
