By zac from bozeman mt on 03/18/2009 Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, River, Survival, Trips, Winter Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't used yet but just like it said, this is a light, compact tool. Just the right size for a solo or small group trip. The larger size would be good for a group trip where you may prepare food for a few people.
By zac from bozeman, mt on 03/18/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It works great on Nalgene. I had some bottles that I didn't realize were much larger-mouthed than a nalgene, so it didn't fit those off-branded bottles, but that is not the fault of the splash guard.
It's a nice addition to your wide-mouth bottle, but make sure you have the same size opening as a nalgene.

For the camper & hiker waiting in you! By CIN from Greensburg PA on 03/11/2009 Pros: Compact, Durable, Hot Surface, Light Cons: May cut mouth on spork Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, Glove compartment, River, Survival, Trips, Winter Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like this set and "Guyot" makes a smaller set for children that I haven't seen in Sierra Trading Post, but have purchased elsewhere. I would suggest using a (fingernail)nail buffer to dull the sides of the utensils, just to be on the safe side. I've never cut myself, but I'm very careful using them. The child's size is smoother.
Great idea, though. Like the old Girl Scout sets, but not metal.
By asta from The World on 03/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Lightweight, Tough Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great little addition to keep from getting water up your nose when you drink from your Nalgene bottle. It fits in the mouth of the bottle, and doesn't disturb the existing lid.
