You might as well eat with your hands, as you'll get food all over you. I guess you could trim the bag but it'd be way easier to just get a longer spoon. These pieces look to be 5.5-6 inches long. Other than that, the size of the "spork" is a nice balance between tea and table, in the spoon kinda way. They have stylish holes in the handles, presumably to make a necklace. Or perhaps they're for lashing to a stick to lengthen the handle.
