By woodio from Meriden, CT on 11/16/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Light weight, Looks Great, Metal holes, Stable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Day hiking Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wasn't sure what to expect. These are a well made low-cut hiking shoe. The laces go real far into the toe region. The tongues are curved. These features make the shoe fit snug but not too snug. A great shoe at a great price.
By Topshot from Baltimore MD on 11/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable out of the box. Hopefully the mesh "sock" will not stretch out and compromise performance. Seems nicely made. Great color combo - a very attractive shoe. Foot feels nicely surrounded yet shoe is very light. Nice that it is snug without being tight or uncomfortable.

one size was too large the other was per By Buttercup from Vail, Colorado on 10/09/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement, Running, Walking Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a number of shoes. This one in two sizes. Although I have returned both I may have one sent back as I have not found anything better. One was too large and one was great without any socks. I can't run without socks; however, I may just wear them for awhile without socks and hope they loosen up as everyone says they will so that by next summer I can wear them with a thin wool running sock.

These are the best trail running shoes!! By Lou from Phoenix AZ on 10/01/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Running, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these to hike the mountain preserve and they provide total stability and really "grab" on the switchbacks. Highly recommend if you want a comfortable and great looking trail shoe.
By Hittin' the trails! from AZ on 10/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Traction Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered one pair and after running in them for about two weeks I ordered two more pairs. These shoes are great for trail running! The sock type shoe concept is awesome for keeping rocks out of your shoes. They are very lightweight, which is not usual for a trail shoe. They allow your feet to breathe because of the lightweight material. At first the shoes do feel tight but after a couple of wears they conform to your feet. I haven't had any comfort issues with them. The traction has been great on the lose rock trails that I am running on, no slipping here!
By Low Rider from Westby, MT on 09/21/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Company based in Montana, Durable Best Uses: Endurance Training, Everyday wear, Running, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to try these shoes as I wanted to support a shoe company based in Bozeman Montana. I got them at a great price so was pleasantly surprised at how well I like them! The only drawback is that they are hard to get on your foot but once your foot is in the fit is snug and comfortable which is what I like since it keeps grass and debris out of the shoe really well, making them perfect for trail running and hiking the hills of NE Montana. They fit true to size so there is no need to size up 1/2 size like I do for most other brands of athletic shoes. I like the looks of them too which I admit is important to me in buying a shoe. I will definitely pay attention to the Oboz brand from now on.
