I am small chested so I think the empire waist was not flattering on me. I never had a balloon skirt style so the extra weight was not a good style for me either. Can not be hemmed. I think some jewelry would snag the fabric, like a pin or bracelet prong. I was sorry to have to return this. I had high hopes for this dress at such a great price.

I had to return it but not because of any problem with the blouse. It's just too dressy and sheer for my normal lifestyle. I don't get out to fancy occasions much and my office environment is quite casual/conservative. It would be a stunning blouse at a nice dinner or formal occasion.

It works well. I used a wrap to dress it up for evening and it worked perfectly. The fabric falls nicely. The only negative things were: the sleeves are a little long (I'll need to shorten) and the fact that it is made from a synthetic fiber - it's warm (95% of my clothing is made from natural fabrics).
