A little on the wide side By EH&S guy from Portland, Oregon on 11/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these shoes for use on our production floor. They are very comfortable, but a bit on the wide side. Thicker sock should address this issue.
By Sheena from Albuquerque, NM on 11/13/2009 Pros: Well-fitted cushioning Cons: Not for construction use Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Boot was comfortable, and felt made for a woman's foot. Safety toe was reasonably light-weight. Electrostatic-safe, but made for indoor applications (security, warehousing, etc.) Cushioning sole made with the 80's-style see-through air-bubble. Most certainly NOT made for puncture hazard areas like construction, forestry, or waste applications.
Great looking, heavy duty shoes By Retired soldier from NE Ohio on 11/10/2009 Pros: Black no pastels, Durable, Great styling, Reinforced toe, Rugged tread Cons: Must keep laced tightly, Rubs at top of collar Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor activities, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the styling, very rugged shoes, i am the "handywoman" for the family and wear out clothes and shoes quickly, so these shoes are great and look like they will hold up well. Having the reinforced toe that isn't metal is nice too. Only negative so far is the top of the collar rubs the back of my heel unless i snug the laces very tightly, but maybe will stop when broken in better. Also love them being black and not some typical white or pastel color womens shoes usually seem to be.

Mostly waterproof but uncomfortable. By Mountain Biking Brewer from Colorado on 11/09/2009 Cons: Heavy, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Wet Weather, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these for work hoping I could wear them instead of traditional brewer's rubber boots. Put some Dr. Scholl's gel inserts in after the first day since they killed my feet. The inserts helped a lot and made the shoes seem not so oversized. Generally waterproof but some water gets in around the tongue area. The shoes are really heavy, too, which is expected with the steel toe.

By Wife of a rugged man from Southern Indiana on 11/03/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Stable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband loves these! He normally wears a steel-toe, steel shank work boot for daily wear. He wanted something lighter, but still strong and supportive. He has bad feet (including a previous break), so a good, comfortable boot is really important to him. He is a stay-at-home dad who also cuts wood, works on cars, fixes anything and everything. He loved these the moment he put them on because they are lighter than his other boots but still supportive and comfortable on his feet, and they have steel toes. He wears them everyday. A great all around boot!! Weather hasn't been cold enough to comment on the insulation and only time will tell if they hold up well to the rigors of his life!
