The area around the ankle is very tight and rigid. I will be returning them.

You can wear them with absolutely everything - jeans, trousers, skirts, dresses. If you know your european size,then you should dismiss the american sizing. Normally I wear US size 7.5 and if I had gotten these boots according american sizing they would had been too big for me. They do feel a tiny bit narrow, but not as much as I would have to return them.

Note the color on the sole scuffs quickly to beige but unless you're looking at the bottom of the boot you can't see it.

The boots definitely run narrow and that should be said. I also found very little actual leather other than on the front line of the boot.

I have wider feet than some, and they were too narrow on my feet, which made them very uncomfortable. I even ordered a half size larger than I normally wear to allow for extra comfort, but it didn't work: they were still way too tight, so I had to send them back unfortunately.
