By penta from Northern California on 10/31/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Not Warm, Not Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Slippery Terrain Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Wanted a snow boot for running around a snowy town or after skiing. These are much more light weight than I thought. Not water proof.(They did not say they would be, but they sell as a "snow boot". WAY small on size. I wear a 6 and I ordered a 7 for wearing big socks and they hardly fit with thin socks.
By The Lizard from Wy on 10/30/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Warm, Not Waterproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Wasn't as sturdy as I had thought they would be. Very lightweight. Not for extreme cold conditions or deep snow. Tight at top to put foot in, and no room for pants to fit in. Returned them. Would probably be great for someone who lives in moderately cold place and just wants an out on the town boot.
I really like these boots By citybusdriver from Vancouver, WA on 10/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots for the upcoming winter so I do not yet know how well they will perform, but they seem to have good traction. I am glad I read the reviews and bought a size larger. They are just right.
By gazoo from upstate ny on 10/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: VERY cute boots. I could see where they might be difficult to get on/off...I guess it just depends on the person. I love them.
By Rio's Girl from East Bay, California on 10/29/2009 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a high arch and these boots, while snug, go on easily. The only con would be that the toe area of the boot is rather roomy. It's great for bulky socks but then it's tight around my arches.
By Wilderness Woman from Nenana, AK formerly Williamsburg, ME on 10/29/2009 Cons: Can't tighten enough, Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Comfortable, Not pliable Describe Yourself: Professional Guide Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Yuck! A big disappointment. Not worth returning. Will either cut off tops and make into slippers or donate to local senior center.
By love@high altitude from Lyons, CO. on 10/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: 'Interviewed' a # of boots from Sierra and these are my choice. I LIKE the big toe space-room for heavy sox AND a sports doctor insole to make them even better for hiking. Very cozy and closer fitting and less heavy than Sorels i tried. Am thinking about rigging up heavy elastic for the ties so more easy on/off and no ties dragging in wet. Thanks, again, STP!!!!!
By Mountain Woman from NE Wyoming on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the large toe box that accomodates my wool socks. My feet are never cold in these boots. The only negative is the lack of arch support but I just put in my own. At this price you can surely afford to.
