Best sport sandal there is By Comfortable shoe lover from Bettendorf Iowa on 10/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stylish Best Uses: Barbecues, Beach, Everyday, Travel, Walking Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had several pairs of Chacos over the years. They are the best sport sandal out there. I like that they are less clunky than some. I had tried several other brands before finding Chacos. I have a wide foot, but because of the straps being completely adjustable, I was able to wear the regular width with my first pair (way back before Chaco had a wide width, and before I had children and my foot got even wider!) Once they had a wide I tried it and I liked it even better.
I wear mine almost every day when the weather is warm enough. When the sole gets thin, you can get them resoled too through Chacos website.
It is true that the Z2s and ZX2s take some time to break in. The straps are still "slippery" and easy to slide back and forth at first, and so it tightens on your toe with walking. But after a while, the straps don't slide so easily. Even given that, some people just don't like the toe wrap - I like it though. I actually found the Z1 (without the toe loop) to cause more rubbing after a lot of walking.

By Portland 51 from Portland, OR on 09/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Value, Nice workmanship, Stylish for flips Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had Chaco flips before and have always enjoyed them. The leather version is a bit nicer and very comfortable on the footbed. The straps are a bit stiff when first worn, but will probably soften with use. Nice sandal for a bit of an upgrade on the traditional nylon strapped version.

By Redwoman from WV on 09/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Best Uses: Beach, Everyday Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My second pair of chacos. Definitely a shoe that has a break in period, but one of the most comfortable and durable shoes out there.
