Best jacket my wife has owned By Gnarly Charlie from SLC, UT on 11/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My wife is always cold, I had a status like this but from a few years ago. I saw the new ones, and had to get one, and of course one for my wife, we are both extremely satisfied as always with any product from Mammut. If your cold often, and hate the bulk look of down, or puff this is your jacket.

Mammut Fleece Jacket fits the bill!!! By Grammy from N. Conway, NH on 11/09/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Could be heavier weight Best Uses: Daily Use, Layering system Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this piece as an underlayer for ice climbing. So far, I have been very happy with the fit and mobility of this garment. Movement is easy and there appear to be no restrictions in a wide range of motion. I wish it were a little heavier weight (thus a bit warmer), but for the weight that it is, it is an excellent second or third layer. I am very pleased with this piece and have always been a fan of mammut quality and attention to detail.
Very cozy and warm, narrow shoulders By Extra731 from Atlanta, GA on 11/03/2009 Cons: Narrow shoulders and hips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I LOVE this bright blue color! The jacket seems very warm and cozy. It is a VERY trim fit. I usually wear a size 4, so I ordered a small. The small fit well around my chest and waist, and it was the right length in the arms, but the shoulders were too tight. It also was snug enough where it came over the top of my hips to bunch up when I moved. I just received the medium, and it is much more comfortable (I can move my arms freely!!). Unfortunately, the looser fit of the medium in the torso and waist is a little less flattering on me, and the sleeves are slightly longer than I need. It seems like it will be very warm, though, and I love the color and the "furry" interior, so I'm keeping it. Probably perfect for someone with narrower shoulders.

By G from Boston on 10/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Skiing, Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great jacket...it is extremely well made. I ordered the orange it's an awesome orange, but definitely "loud." Sizing wise, it runs true to size...I'm 6'1" - 225 lbs and an XL fits perfect. Just be sure to check the manufacturer's sizing critera because it varies from company to company.
Few drawbacks: The zipper slider is on the wrong side (maybe a European thing?). The zipper itself is fine-toothed, and does not zip up or down as easily as other jackets I've owned that have had wide tooth zippers. One other thing, I wish it had outer chest pockets. It has fewer pockets than I would prefer.
Overall, amazing jacket.
