By Renshi from Seattle, WA on 09/13/2007 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Rafting, River Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It takes a good tug to release the knife from the holster. You need two hands to release the knife as it comes from the factory. If you open the screws up to loosen the holster's grip as mentioned in the directions, the knife disengages easier but the screws stay loose. Perhaps one needs to put in washers to maintain the desire release pressure and still keep the screws tight.
Well made. Sheath has plenty of options. By Always Ready Adventurer from Ashland, KY on 09/12/2007 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Sharp Blade Best Uses: River Trips, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Knife is well made. Sheath lets you configure for how you need to carry. Very good value for the money. Would rather have had an extra inch or so of blade, but this should do the job.
