By Dave the Lefty from Jackson, MS on 08/15/2009 Pros: Compact, Good Weight, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Day Trips, River Trips, Road Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Like lots of knives, this can only be easily opened one-handed if you're right-handed. I'll still get use out of it, but I don't see it replacing an older and slightly heavier knife I have that has an ambidexterous design.

By wisconsinken from Columbia, MO on 08/05/2009 Pros: Compact, Durable, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Campgrounds, Day Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Works pretty good as a money clip. It's one of the most clever ways to store the blade I have even seen. It seem very strong but have only had it a few weeks.
Great knife, ok assit-opening By J-dawg from Tomball, TX on 08/05/2009 Pros: Durable, Sharp Blade Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Good looking knife for a good price. I like the blade material. My only complaint is that I just bought it and the assisted-opening feature already is making sounds like it's wearing out. It sometimes can be difficult to open as well.
By Justodd from Silver Spring, MD on 08/04/2009 Pros: A good piece of kit, Comfortable Grip, Durable, Finish, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Camping, Hunting, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I typically carry a multitool with me, but have had the knives fail when having to tackle more robust tasks like chopping branches for firewood...other than that I was just looking for a good sturdy fixed blade knife for use in the out doors that could be easily accessed. This knife is probably more than I would every need (who knows?) but at the price it was going for, I couldn't pass it up!
Excellent knife allround. By Billybobber from Charleston SC on 08/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, High Quality, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Camping, Hunting, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Blade is heavy duty thus knife is heavy. Not had long enough judge if blade keeps is sharpness.
Very nice knife for the money By Dragon Doctor from Upstate NY on 08/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Sharp Blade Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I looked at this knife last December on another website and it was quite a bit more expensive. At the time I decided on the Seal Pup from SOG. When I saw this as a special bargain I almost couldn't believe it. CRKT knives are always well made for the money. If you wanted to spend like 5 times as much you could get better stuff but not in this price range.
By Okute from Tempe, Az on 08/03/2009 Pros: Durable, Sharp Blade, Smooth Locking Mechanism Cons: Grip cutouts cramp grasp Best Uses: Camping, Home, Hunting, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great knife, I bought it to check out the autolawks and outburst features.
I use a knife at work on a daily basis and I have found that a serrated edge works best on a straight Tanto point knife with at least 4 inches of blade and 3 inches of serration. It allows enough saw-like movement to fully facilitate the use of the edge. Any smaller length of serration and a razor edge becomes more efficient. I own an old (same size) Tighe Tac that is my favorite dress knife with the razor edge and it works better on cutting rope, packing tape or cardboard. And I work with a fully serrated 4 inch Tanto blade Cold Steel Voyage that is the best work knife I have found to date.
Now with all that said I am still quite happy with the Tiny Tighe Breaker you sold me. It is a good knife.
By "The Thinker" from Maryville, TN on 08/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Finish, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Camping, Hunting, Survival Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great Knife fits in your hand nice. Good construction, Perfect for camping or hunting.
By Marker from NJ on 08/01/2009 Cons: Poor Craftsmanship, Slippery, Slow to open, Smooth handle Best Uses: Every Day Carry Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Assisted opening does not work very well at all. Handle is way to slippery to get any good traction on. It is trying to look like a high end knife, but can't pull it off in person. Thumb stud is too small. There are much better knifes out there.
