Highly functional bird hunting boot By Gonzodon from Gladstone, Michigan on 06/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Waterproof Best Uses: Bird Hunting, Warm Climate Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a highly functional, light weight, waterproof, warm to cool weather bird hunting boot. It is not insulated, but is still warm (but I do have "warm feet"). The high top may not be for some, and the tread is adequately aggressive, but some might desire an even more aggressive tread. Typical high quality product from Danner, and a steal at the price I paid.
By Shademan from Florida on 06/17/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots are a good value. I ordered a half size larger and wish I had gone a full size, anything made in China runs small. Materials seem to be good quality and though snug, I'm sure they will break in. I walked 3 miles right out of the box with no problems.

By gumshoe 56 from State College, Pa on 06/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've worn Danner boots for over 20 years I've tried other boot companies and have found Danner boots to out last any other I've tried, their gore-tex lined boots stay water proof for the life of the boot and their soles don't fall off due to poor glue. I like the support they give in a light weight boot. I farm and work horses 7 days a week and these boots are what keep me on my feet all day.
By froggirltx from Arizona on 06/02/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Stable Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This boot performs pretty well. I got some heel blisters the first time I wore them, but who doesn't with boots? I bought them to comply with wildland fire regulations. I only wish that more companies made women's boots so I wouldn't have to guess at a size!
By walkabout from denver co on 06/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: very comfortable right out of the box, the first pair of boots made in china i have bought that i can say that about. Durability is something that time will tell, they seem very lightwieght, so i expect that they will wear out quickly, but the price is right.

By Lauren from Ohio on 05/27/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I found them to fit relatively well, but the ankle hit in the wrong place. My mother has relatively wide feet and said that they were very narrow across the ball of the foot. Ultimately we sent them back.
