By Average Joe from Mi on 10/10/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good buy for the money. Definately not worth the msrp quoted. Outer material is similar to Carhart and pretty heavy, but not quite as heavy as Carhart. Light insulation. My main concern will be if the plastic zipper holds up.
By Average Joe from Mi on 10/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good buy for the price (mine was [$]). Definately not worth advetised msrp. Outer material is pretty heavy, but not as heavy as Carhart. Light quilted insulation. A little stiff at first, but like Carhart material, I expect it to soften up after a few washes. My only concern is the longevity of the plastic zipper.
By Meat Hunter from Virginia/Northern California on 09/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: No Bottom Cinch Cord Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Cold Climate, Layering Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a good layering piece for the price. The fleece is very thick and seems to be double sided. The inside is black and has a heavy pile look and feel. I expect this vest will be very warm. It is just long enough for a tall person (I'm 6'4"). The camo pattern doesn't seem as sharp as it is in the online picture but I'm sure it will be just fine in use. My biggest complaint is the lack of a cinch cord around the bottom, add that and it would be five stars.
