Dragon Optical

Based in Carlsbad, CA, Dragon Optical sunglasses do more than wrap your eyes in dramatic styles and glare-free comfort. Dragon technology has produced an optically precise ARC® spherical lens system that “bubbles out” to eliminate tunnel vision. Shatterproof, carbon-based lenses are front loaded so they won't pass through the frame and damage your eyes. Goggles from Dragon Optical have a special breathing system that eliminates fog and curves around your face with moisture-wicking foam. View objects and colors with rich clarity in high tech, street-smart sunglasses and goggles from the Dragon Alliance.

Very poor design to fit most faces.

Heavy, Scratches Easily, Uncomfortable

[...] they are huge. Also, they go straight across instead of curving with your face. This is a very poor design.

Great Glasses...But Too Small
By Llama MamaVerified Reviewer from Napa, CA on 06/01/2009
Pros:
Great quality, Nice all around glasses
Cons:
Too Small
Best Uses:
At The Beach, Casual Wear, Driving, Travel
Describe Yourself:
Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish
Sizing:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I was really impressed with the quality of these glasses. My only gripe is that they seemed sized more for a kid. They were very small for my face, and tight by the ears...a problem I haven't had before. The style is also quite angular...keep that in mind if you prefer a softer, more feminine sunglass style. In the end, I returned them because they were just too small.

Great Sunglasses
By swagirlVerified Reviewer from Alta Loma, CA on 06/01/2009
Pros:
Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Protection, Lightweight
Best Uses:
At The Beach, Casual Wear, Driving, Travel
Describe Yourself:
Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I cannot comment on the durability, resistance to scratching nor whether or not the sunglasses are good for athletics since I have only had the sunglasses for about a week or so. I do know that my other pair of Dragon sunglasses I bought about two years ago from Sierra Trading Post are in awesome shape are are a bit trendier in style and color and have held up very well. I am considering just ordering another pair like my two year old ones in another color! I am very pleased with the styling of these glasses and they fit perfectly, feel great on, and so far, are an excellent choice. The tint is dark, so I think being out in very sunny and reflective conditions will help protect my eyes.

Good tint and good protection for my aging eyes. Heavier than my Ray-Bans, but a lot more affordable if I drop them while sailing or kayaking.

The lenses are wide enough, but the arms seem tapered a bit and fit more snug than I would have expected. Very easily scratchable. But very nice otherwise.
