They are the perfect size for reaching far down into the mouth and not hurt the fish, yet not too long to transport around. They are great for all freshwater and light saltwater. Also, no rust since they are stainless.

I like these bent ones for trimming. They are well made and fit my fingers well. Very good value.

The bent shaft gives a more natural angle to vise for ease of use. The 3.5" is best for fine cutting...don't plan to cut hair bugs with these!
