By Alf from St. Paul, MN on 12/20/2007 Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Functional Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Though not tried in the field, the clamp's side cutter crisply cuts monofilament and sports a hook-eye cleaner. The best feature is the handle. It is very comfortable for my hand (Man's Large glove size). The curved jaws also feels ergonomic when used.

Dr. Slick provides high grade tools for fresh and saltwater, and at these prices, I have equipped all four of my vests and three pairs of waders for a fraction of retail prices.

Well made - excellent value! By Montana Kate from Butte, Montana on 12/09/2007 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: I am a beader - Beading Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these for beading. Have several different pairs by other makers - these are by far the best made! They hold tight to even the thinnest thread and can hold/expand to grip up to 1 mm wire. The smaller size is incredibly useful as to keeping out of the way, lighter weight and can reach into tight places (for beaded sculptures). Next month I will be buying at least 12 pair more and getting rid of my other, now obviously, poorer quality ones. Buy with confidence for use at home - can't tell 'ya about using it around water, though my Husband may steal a pair as he is a fly fisherman.

Great for cleanup work to make that fly look perfect. (Don't tell anyone, but they are perfect for facial hair too.)
