By hip mamma from taos, nm on 10/09/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i bought these shoes to wear to work at a spa. i stood in them for 4+ hours straight out of the box and not only did i not have any discomfort from the shoe, my feet weren't tired of standing. after work i walked for 2 miles and still no discomfort. these shoes are wonderful! the only downfall so far is they scuff pretty easy, so i already have a few marks after just a couple of times wearing them. it's not too bad though - gives them character. buy them in rosso! such a great color of red!
Awesome price for awesome boots! By Thevahvah from New Haven, CT on 10/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wow! I thought that I was a person who'd never be able to wear leather boots, but I've changed my mind since buying these shoes. Not only do I have big calves (16.5 inches) from playing sports, but I also have high arches and Morton's neuromas in each foot. For those of you who aren't familiar with neuromas, they're nerve tumors in the foot that make walking excruciating. I had surgery to correct one of my neuromas, but it didn't help and I have a very difficult time finding shoes that I can tolerate, never mind boots! These boots are the solution to all my problems. They have great arch support, the negative heel takes the pressure off the neuromas, and the calf easily fits around my legs. I like to wear these boots with the cuff unfolded so that they come almost to my knee. I have very long legs (33 inch inseam) and the boots come to about an inch below my knees when unfolded. They're so lightweight and they make walking a breeze. I'm on my feet all day and I walk about 11,000 steps in one day and these boots just kept on going!
By MK from Lansing, MI on 10/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are great. I am on my feet all day for 10+ hours and these do not fitigue my feet. My back also feels great. I am very happy I read all the reviews before getting them and they are what people are saying. I did get an 8.5 and they fit just right. I am usually a size 9.
By turtle girl from around Denver, CO on 10/06/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are great for around the house or for those chilly days in the snow - warm and fuzzy
By Anonnyomous from VT on 10/06/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Cute, Stable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Formal Events, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Cool boot, I do not agree that they don't fit plus size legs.
By battybertha from London on 10/03/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these in an 11 when I normally take a 12 and they were too short so I can't wear them. Shame as they are cute. They are definitely summer boots though with just a light cotton lining with no padding, and I don't think the uppers would take much rough treatment. But if you want boots for the times when it would normally be too hot to wear others these could be for you
By battybertha from London on 10/03/2008 Pros: Allows for straight feet, Breathes Well, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Easy To Clean, Stable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, wear anywhere Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally take a size 12 but ordered the 11s which fit just fine. They are comfortable and practical. What I like most is that they are foot shaped and allow for a long big toe (not that I have one) and don't squash your toes into a rounded or pointed shape. The only thing I would change is to make them taller. They are not very high.
Adorable!...with thick socks By Midori from Massachusetts on 09/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable, Warm Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was a little surprised by the faux pony-hair material of these boots, but they are adorable. I have small ankles, so I found I needed really tall socks to keep the shaft and the top of the boot from rubbing the skin off of the back of my calves. This is my first pair of Earth boots, but they won't be the last. Very easy to walk in, and everybody noticed them.
By Kamanjah from Sierra Foothills, CA on 09/27/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Slippers Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe definitely runs big, that's why I rated it 4 instead of 5. I have several pairs of Earth shoes, and this 9.5 is the same size as the Cypress hiking boot 10. I have a wide foot, and this style is even wide on me. I wanted to exchange it for a 9 but none are available, so I'll just wear thick socks. I got these so I would have warm winter slippers with good support and they'll be perfect. I love the faux sheepskin lining. Earth shoes are perfect for folks with foot problems - I had to have my big toe joints replaced and the negative heel keeps the pressure off my toes and helps my balance.
By Migwanikwe from central Indiana on 09/26/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a really nice Earth shoe however, I find that it fits really snug. It fits better without socks but most of us wear socks with clog shoes and then it's too snug. I own many Earth shoes and this one feels more narrow than the others. You may want to go a 1/ |
