Third Pair of Serengeti's By Ron from St. Augsustine on 09/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Scratch Resistant Best Uses: At The Beach, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this pair based on previous satisfaction and familiarity with the tint. Last pair was used for 3 years and I wore them everywhere in the strong Florida sun. Only negative was the finish began to wear off on the metal frame. I was intrigued by the polycromatic feature because of the strong sun here but really don't notice the tint getting darker or lighter as advertised. I was slightly dissapointed by this, but I still like the glare and protection. I have a small face and these fit perfect. Would not recommend for larger face.

By Misplaced Rob from Quad Cities, IA on 09/14/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Durable, Good Polarization, Good Protection Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The rose tint is nice on sunny and bright cloudy days, and the frames are stylish. The tortoise shell is only apparent in bright conditions, the frame appears black indoors.
The Serengeti logo at the corner of the right lens is distracting at first, but after wearing for 45 minutes or so on the first wearing, I no longer noticed it. I don't notice it at all on subsequent wearings.
The polarization is strong. If you rotate an LCD (or your head) 45 degrees it will "black out". You can also get interesting rainbow effects from light reflecting off or passing through curved surfaces (e.g. curved car windows). This is not as annoying as it sounds, and also becomes less noticeable over time.
These glasses are heavy, and the bridge of my nose got a little sore after a 7 hour drive.
Terrific price for the quality By Above average truck driver from LaPorte, IN on 09/13/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Polarization Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Career, Comfort-Oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Adjusted fine from aviator style of years' past. Must have quality sunglasses to drive ALWAYS & these qualify. Hard to find Serengeti brand in stores, let alone larger size for temple. These are it!
By LivRLovR from Berkeley, CA on 09/09/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far have only had these glasses for one day so am not sure how they do with activities other than driving and walking around town, but they are very stylish and the rosy tint is not TOO rosy, which is what I had been worried about. They are just right for what I was looking for.
By HappyGal from Los Angeles, CA on 09/09/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Scratch Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The glasses are a nice fit. Although the frame/style is a bit square for my face, I like the overall look and feel. They are not too heavy and the only thing that would make these super comfortable is rubber nose grips/pads (keep from slipping on hot days). The sale price at the time was quite a steal for the quality. They come in a nice case and chamois included! Overall, I couldn't have made a better investment.
