By G from Oregon on 04/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Put On And Take Off Best Uses: Boating, Paddling Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for whitewater kayaking or summer guiding with shorts (as a splash jacket). Tough and durable. I'm used to a chunkier velcro/neoprane waste but this is very strong, no doubts it will hold up after many uses. Got a medium for a 5'10" female fits well, roomy and long arms.
By Betty from Hopewell, NJ on 03/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy To Put On And Take Off Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just gave it to my husband for his B'day. He hasn't taken it out yet on the water....but he can't wait.
Versatile and comfortable By Reebee from Napa CA on 03/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Ventilation, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight, No bulk under the arms, Pocket and rings helpful Cons: Pocket could be bigger Best Uses: Boating, Paddling Describe Yourself: Aggressive Rider Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for catamaran sailing and surf ski paddling. Far more comfortable than my old fashioned vest which had padding all the way around. Movement is now easier, especially twisting. I would prefer more storage space, like a bigger pocket. Overall I am very pleased.
By glenn from sedona on 03/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Put On And Take Off, Go up one size Best Uses: Boating, Paddling Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The bottom gasket is not very snug. I would call this a splash top more than a semi dry.
But a good price even for a quality splash top.
By ender man Andy from yoc western PA on 03/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: can't wait to throw some ends with this dry top
By Tater from Chicago, IL on 03/11/2008 Best Uses: Kayaking, Paddling Describe Yourself: Aggressive Rider Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had a Retro Avenger for several years and unfortunately it walked at a regatta. It is very comfortable, Easy to put on in a hurry, Easiliy adjustable, fits over foul weather Gear nicely. I tried several others the past few weeks, even one with warming pockets but they did not fit right- the zipper makes this one easy to done. Would be nice to have SOLAS on it but I am adding.
