Great functionality and looks good By greenscales from [*] on 10/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Stylish Best Uses: Layering, Warm Weather Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have already had it out 3 times. Comfortable and looks good enough to wear before and after an paddling, in contrast to skin tight rash gaurds that only work for the perfect physique. Very breathable so great for long sleeve sun protection w/o overheating mid day. But under a windproof drytop - great for underneath layering. Love the little pocket on the upper sleeve for keys when my trunks are soaked or I am wearing splash pants. Allowed for 12+ hour paddle, w/drytop I removed as it got hotter and put back on in the evening.

Wait until spring! I'm new to the river running activity.
By KristiKayak from Oakdale CA on 10/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy To Put On And Take Off Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had been looking for some cold weather kayak pants. I went to all the shops and tried all the brands on, from wetsuits to pants. I decided to take a chance on these pants, and I'm glad I did. They are by far nicer looking and more comfortable than anything I tried on in the shops. They look great. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs. They fit great, and were very comfortable. I am very happy with this purchase, and glad I stuck to my bottom line....NEVER PAY RETAIL! Summer is over, but I am still out on the water! HAPPY KAYAKING! By Why_Wet_Exit from Mesa, AZ on 10/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy To Put On And Take Off Best Uses: Cool-Cold Water, Creeking, Paddling Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This top is great. Some people have voiced concerns about water gathering at the neck but I've had NONE. The neck drains on mine work great, and putting it on and off is very easy. The adjustable waist is so secure that after two hours in class 3-4 creeking the top of my skirt was still dry. Over all PICK THIS UP. You won't be sad. Images shared by: Why_Wet_Exit
By Mike from Fort Worth Texas on 10/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Best Uses: Cycling, Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good for snorkeling and boating
By Reedo from Arkansas on 10/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great drytop! Not any harder to get on and off then any other drytop (you just have to cut the gaskets to make them fit...thats what the lines are for the go around the gaskets). I do agree that the second strap around the neck might hold a little water and is a little pointless, but it does have a drain in the front and back that should help.
By Deb the Paddler from North Shore, Boston on 10/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable Best Uses: Boating, Paddling Describe Yourself: Casual Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore this for the first time yesterday -- mid-October -- New England -- in the ocean, paddling. Great product. Glad I bought it.
Good for a spare at a great price By Dan from Prescott, AZ on 10/12/2009 Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought two of these on sale to use as spares on day and overnight trips. Often, a BLM permit on desert river trips requires 1 spare paddle per boat. I get the Carlisle quality for [...] prices. That can't be bad! These paddles won't wow you with features, but they are good solid paddles that will last a lifetime.
